Bigwigs visit Japan A group of Primorye manufacturers led by Vice Gov. Igor Belchuk recently traveled to the Hokkaido prefecture in Japan, where they participated in an exhibition of Primorye-made goods. Japanese investors at the exhibition were most interested in partnerships with the Mink fur company, Dikona pharmaceuticals, the Fabrika Zarya clothing factory, and fishing giant Dalmoreprodukt.

Andrei Malyutin isn’t doing much these days. As president of the Vladivostok Stock Exchange, he hasn’t seen a transaction in more than four weeks.

Business Port stock deal sails through

The Vladivostok Trade Port made steps toward becoming a larger player in the international market recently when shareholders agreed to increase its capital value by just under $10 million.
