Murders rack krai

The Vladivostok News

Four slayings hit Primorye Jan. 11, including a woman found in a refrigerator and a 70-year-old man beaten to death by bums.

Police found the body of a 50-year-old woman inside a discarded refrigerator on Dobrovolskovo Street in Vladivostok. She was tied up, and her head was wrapped in a blanket. Forensic experts said she died of asphyxation. Police have a suspect in the case.

The burned corpse of an Armenian man was found at a construction site in Vatutina Street in Vladivostok. He died of numerous blows to the head.

Two bums allegedly hammered to death the 70-year-old owner of a detached private residence in Spassk. Both criminals have been detained, and police are searching for motives. And a human skeleton was found at a dump near Ussurisk the same date.
