Vladivostok tastes culinary feast

A three-day Primorye culinary festival opens its doors to cooking enthusiasts showcasing their skills in Vladivostok’s Circus building on Thursday.

Chefs from all over the Primorsky region will share their professional secrets with Vladivostok’s residents and guests. The third annual culinary festival includes contests in cooking, baking and Japanese cuisine.

Imaginative cooking aficionados created a culinary world atlas with specialty foods representing each geographic area such as coffee beans for South America and caviar for Russia.  Regional and international cooks are gathering in Vladivostok for a three day culinary festival beginning Thursday.

Imaginative cooking aficionados created a culinary world atlas with specialty foods representing each geographic area such as coffee beans for South America and caviar for Russia. Regional and international cooks are gathering in Vladivostok for a three day culinary festival beginning Thursday.



Cooks from Moscow will add master classes on the art of Russian, Italian, French and American food preparation. All the dishes will be offered for tasting, organizers say. Competitions for barmen and coffee-making experts are also included in the program.

The festival is intended to become a momentous experience for professionals, companies engaged in culinary business and ordinary residents passionate for tasty food.
