A horrible suicide shocked the residents of Blagoveshchensk in the Amur region on Wednesday when two teenagers –cousins Margarita Odintsova and Yelena Panina– committed suicide by jumping down the balcony on the 12th floor of a residential building.

Moscow police on Tuesday seized 20 tons of contraband red caviar in Domodedovo airport from two planes arriving from Russia’s Far Eastern cities of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

A Russian boat detained by border guards for poaching in the southern part of the Kuril Islands on Monday sank in a blaze in the Aniva Bay of the Sakhalin Island two days later.
