Levels of radiation in Primorye’s southern territories bordering N. Korea do not exceed norms, Primorye’s environmental watchdog said voicing results of radiation measurements which followed N. Korea’s underground nuclear test on Monday.

Crime watch Cafe shooting injures people

Three people were injured in what is alleged to be settling of scores when unidentified people fired a bazooka rocket at a cafe in Vladivostok on Saturday, a press statement from Primorye’s Prosecutor’s Office said.

Leader of the pro-Kremlin United Russia party, the State Duma speaker Boris Gryzlov met local party activists and students, laid wreaths at the Pacific Fleet memorial and even played in a football match against Primorye Governor Sergei Darkin’s team during his one-day visit to Vladivostok October 6.
