6 people wounded in street skirmish

Six people including an eight-year-old girl were rushed to the hospital with trauma in Vladivostok on Tuesday after they had accidentally fallen victim to an armed street fight between young people who were settling scores.

The youngsters clashed in Davydova Street in Vladivostok on Tuesday and during the fight one of the attackers pulled a gun and opened fire. Six passers-by were wounded, a press service for the Primorye regional police reported.

The victims, a 46-year-old woman, an 18- year-old girl, an eight-year-old girl and three young men, were all hospitalized.

The police reported that they had managed to detain one of the participants in the fight while another one fled the scene in his car. The police are aware of his whereabouts and he will soon be detained, the press service reported.

A full investigation into the incident has been launched.
