Arts and Ideas Prison fashion - dresses to be caught in

Women serving their prison terms in a female penal colony near the village of Gornoye, Nadezhdinsky County in southern Primorye, have recently staged a fashion show as part of celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the colony’s founding. Of the two collections shown, one was entirely made of simple fabric used for making men’s boxers.

Arts and Ideas Film festival to screen for all tastes

A total of 330 full and short length movies have already been submitted by filmmakers from 35 countries to be considered for the 5th International Pacific Meridian Film Festival which will be held in Vladivostok in mid-September.
