In Vladivostok a man opened fire on pedestrians from an apartment window, demanding beer and vodka to be brought to his place. Police responded to the request with handcuffs.

The incident took place early Sunday on Selskaya Street in Vladivostok when the man began firing from his apartment window. The man was shooting down at passers-by with his Saiga rifle. Two men reported the gunfire to police and noted that the man was ordering them to bring him beer and vodka.

Police officers approached the apartment and asked the man to open the door saying his beer and vodka had arrived. The shooter opened the door and was detained. The rifle was seized from him, and an investigation into the case was launched.
