Business Trains to reach new rail territories

13.7 trillion rubles ($560 billion) will be invested in the construction of new railways in four Russian regions through the year 2030, though two of the remotest Far Eastern territories – Chukotka and Kamchatka – will remain unreachable by train.

Business Sakhalin region boosts turnover

For the first ten months of 2007, Sakhalin region has exported goods and materials almost twice as much as compared to the same period last year, a statement from the Far Eastern Customs Department reported.
