Special reports Khabarovsk residents banned to flee before elections

The Khabarovsk Department of Migration recently issued a decree prohibiting the region’s residents from leaving the territory from November 29 through December 1, the three days preceding the upcoming elections to the State Duma. Khabarovsk’s Prosecutors Office has filed a protest against the order on the grounds that it is unconstitutional.

Special reports 35 rescued from sunken ship

Thirty five crewmembers and passengers were saved from the bulk carrier Kastor-1 which sank in stormy waters of the Sea of Japan on Sunday, while rescue operation for one missing person still continues, emergency officials reported.
