Crime watch Bomb alarm takes theater to street in Vladivostok

About 1,000 people had to be evacuated from the building of the Gorky Theater in Vladivostok on Wednesday evening after the theater’s management received a bomb threat by telephone.

Crime watch Khabarovsk succeeds in combating crime

Twenty one men, allegedly members of an organized crime ring, will face charges in a Khabarovsk court on their involvement in robberies, extortions, drug and arms trafficking- altogether 29 cases, police officials reported.

Crime watch Chinese murderers of Russian tourists sentenced

A Chinese court has sentenced two of its citizens who murdered a Primorye tourist and injured another in an attempted robbery last September, to a death sentence and a ten-year imprisonment respectively, news reports said.
