Business Tourism dips in Primorye

The number of foreign tourists traveling to Russia’s far eastern region of Primorye in 2007 amounted to 70,000 people showing a 30-percent decrease compared to the previous year, the Zolotoy Rog business weekly reported.

Business British Petroleum to seal office in Sakhalin

Oil giant British Petroleum intends to shut down its representative office in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at the end of April, the head of BP Sakhalin's office Ray Yakubchak announced at a meeting with the speaker of the Sakhalin Duma, Vladimir Yefremov, on Tuesday.
