Business Iskhakov rebukes money delays for Vladivostok construction

The federal financing for the Asian-Pacific Economic Summit to be held in Vladivostok in 2012 is delayed which may result in failing to meet the deadlines for construction of the key structures, Kamil Iskhakov, deputy head of the Ministry for Regional Development told reporters on Thursday in Moscow.

Crime watch S. Korean company, captain penalized

The captain of a S. Korean vessel and the company which owns it will pay a total of 1.5 million rubles ($61,225) as compensation for violating fishing laws in Russia’s territorial waters, the court of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky in the Kamchatka region ruled.
