About 40 Russian and Chinese students exchanged blows in a massive clash near Vladivostok’s State University of Economics and Services (VSUES) on Tuesday with eight of the participants receiving various injuries.

Ten ducks and hens died of bird flu in the village of Vozdvizhenka, Ussurisky County, on April 7, the virus infection being confirmed by Russia’s Central Reference Bird Flu Laboratory on Monday.

Crime watch Police grab stowaway from bathroom

On April 11, transport police and aviation inspectorate officers in the Far Eastern town of Yakutsk detained a man who illegally boarded the plane destined to Vladivostok and hid in the aircraft’s bathroom, a statement from transportation police said.
