September 26, 2008Living behind the hoardingsAccording to the association of the Primorsky builders, the culture expert and journalist Artemiy Troitsky who came to Vladivostok during the film festival “Pacific Meridian”, Vladivostok needs improving the look of the streets. He says that the best way to do it is to get rid of the piles of the advertisement hoardings and bring it to the harmonious architecture of the city. He said that if there were no advertisement hoardings in the city at all, it would be perfect.
In his words, the relief of Vladivostok is very favorable for placing such hoardings, but there is too much of them and it is always important to take into consideration the factor of an appropriate placement for the advertisement. Artemiy Troitsky noted that only because of the public pressure the advertisement was removed from the building of the Kremlin. According to his statements, an interesting advertisement is the one that decorates the city and makes happy its inhabitants.
